Spatial Oddities at LABspace: Opening Reception on Saturday June 16th, 4-7pm

Susan Carr, Moving Stranger Does it Matter? 2018, oil on wood

Please join us at LABspace on Saturday June 16th 4-7pm for the opening reception of Spatial Oddities: a collection of eccentric paintings, oddball constructions and confounding objects— featuring Becca Van K, Carol McMahon, Christina Tenaglia, Claire Sherwood, Claudia Tienan, Diane Dwyer, Madison LaVallee and Susan Carr.

We are thrilled to showcase this surprising work that defies categorization in a thoughtfully rigorous or playfully whimsical way.

The artists and gallery will collaboratively curate and collectively install this packed exhibition in our small, intimate art space in beautiful Hillsdale NY.

Spatial Oddities is a show about the love of art making and an experiment in embracing the unexpected.

LABspace was founded and directed from 2014-2018 by the artist Susan Jennings with the early catalyzing help of the artist/musician Slink G Moss.
