LABspace has opened in our new space in Hilldsdale, NY with our first show "Plus One Plus One." The address is 2642 NY Route 23 (just west of NY Route 22.) The show runs through June 11th. Hours are Thursday and Friday 1-6, Saturday 11-6 and by appointment via labspaceart@gmail.com. We are in the same building as the Hillsdale General Store and CrossRoads Food Shop. (By the way, we love our new neighbors and think you will too.)

For Plus One Plus One 7 artists, most of whom are part of a Brooklyn-based art collective called The Art Survivalist Guild, were invited to choose a work and invite one other artist who would invite one other artist to do the same. The work in Plus One Plus One is surprisingly interconnected and seemingly carefully curated. We believe this speaks to what happens when artists are deeply trusted and encouraged to create their own exhibition contexts. We are thrilled with the results.
