Space Case Closing Weekend, Susan Carr Solo Opening, Fundraising continues...

Space Case installation view featuring Chloë Shupe, April Childers, Hilary McWilliams, Jodi Hays, and David Onri Anderson.

Hello friends!

We hope you and your loved ones are staying healthy and sane these days. We haven’t written in a while and have some updates for you!

Thanks to your boundless generosity, LABspace has been able to support artists we love, and to help raise money for some great organizations throughout this uncertain and stressful time.

YOU— our thriving community of artists and art lovers— have collectively raised over $7600 for Black Visions CollectiveThe Loveland FoundationBlack Women’s BlueprintTrans Justice Funding Project, and more inspiring funds that make a positive impact every day. We have been thrilled to help facilitate these donations through artwork sales on our LABspace Instagram page, and we continue to do so. We hope to reach $10,000 in donations, details below on how to support this goal. Thank you all so much for the love that you have shown!

Also thanks to you, our initial LABspace fundraiser has successfully carried us through months of being closed. We are beyond thrilled to be able to move forward with our IRL gallery programming!

Up next, we invite you to please visit us for the Closing Weekend of Space Case, Sat & Sun Aug 1st & 2nd, 1-5pm. We have halted commissions for the remainder of this show, so all new sales are at 50% listed prices, to be paid directly to the artists. There are still many gems yet to be claimed!

And please Save-the-Date for our opening weekend of Susan Carr’s solo exhibition, In My Room, Saturday and Sunday September 12th & 13th, 1-5pm. We can’t wait to share Sue’s new work with you! Please message us if you’d like to receive a PDF Preview.

Thank you, dear friends! Please be safe out there. We look forward to seeing you all SOON.

Sending love to you and yours,
xo Julie & Ellen
